Prince Spectrum Pro Pickleball Paddle

One of the few things that you will notice on the Prince Spectrum Pro paddle is its shape and design. This paddle has a circular shape and a rounded edge. The advantage of this kind of shape is that it gives you a larger sweet spot. In other words, you don’t really need to hit the ball at the center of the paddle just to get a perfect shot.

In addition to its shape, you’d also notice the face of the paddle. Its design comes in bright orange or blue color and it is very perfect for outdoor courts.

In terms of its grip size, you have the liberty to choose between a standard grip or thing grip. The standard grip is 4 ½ in circumference, while a thin grip is 4 ⅛ in circumference. This paddle is perfect for players who want the perfect grip size.

Pros: two grip sizes

Cons: the handle is not moisture wicking

Prolite Rebel PowerSpin Pickleball Paddle

Prolite Rebel PowerSpin paddle lives up to its name – this paddle is perfect for rebellious players who want something out of the “usual” paddles. This paddle is perfect for former tennis players who are still trying to get to know Pickleball and want to play with more power.

Just like the PROLITE Crush, this PROLITE Rebel is also made from polypropylene honeycomb material. As a result, it produces more power inside the court and of course you also have to thank its shock-absorbing polypropylene core.

In terms of its weight and dimensions, this PROLITE Rebel has a 16” long build that is a little bit longer than the usual paddles that are being sold today. The extended paddle gives you some advantages because it gives you a long paddle face thus you can apply more lash and grip on your power shots. Although this is not the lightest paddle with 7.9 to 8.2 ounces of weight, it will surely give you more power and whip than other brands of paddles.

Pros: Fiberglass paddle face, high-quality

Cons: Pricey

Engage Encore Pro Pickleball Paddle

It is undeniable that the Encore Pro paddle is a popular choice of paddle among top-ranked and the big players in Pickleball. It has a lot of advanced qualities that other paddles don’t have such as the extra-large sweet sport and enhanced touch of the ball as soon as it hit the paddle’s face.

The Encore Pro boasts of its smooth control paddle and great ball placement regardless if you hit hard or soft. Plus, the textured surface of the paddle gives a great spin on the ball thus throwing your opponents off track.

Even though this is the Pro version of the original Encore Paddle, it still shares the same dimension except for the weight. The Encore Pro is slightly heavier than the original Encore with a hefty weight between 7.8 to 8.4 ounces.

Overall, this is the best choice for players who want to improve their play with a great gear used by professional Pickleball players.

Pros: extra large sweet spot

Cons: too heavy for beginners, slightly expensive

Rally PXL Graphite Pickleball Paddle

One of the first few things that you would probably notice when you look at this paddle is the face paddle itself. The reason is that the Rally PXL paddle is one of the best elongated pickleball paddles that you can find in the market today. Instead of a typical square paddle, the Rally PXL has a rectangular surface area at 16 ½ inches by 7 ¼ inches. Thus players will enjoy a larger sweet spot and range with this rectangular shaped paddle.

In terms of weight, this paddle belongs in the medium weight range at 7.6 to 7.8 ounces. What is surprising is that most elongated and oversized paddles tend to be heavier than wide-body paddles but not the Rally PXL. It is because even if the face is longer, its grip is shorter.

The Rally PXL is made of a composite polymer honeycomb core which means it is made of tow or more kinds of polymer thus giving you a sturdy performance.

Overall, this is a great paddle for players who are looking for a new elongated paddle.

The Bantam EX-L belongs to the medium weight range paddles. It weighs between 7.8 to 8.4 ounces. It also measures 15 ⅝” in length and 7 ¾ wide paddle face. Yes, it has a wide paddle face but this is what makes it even more power coupled with an oversized sweet spot.
